Sauna

Sauna is a collective term for the sauna room, the sauna bath, the entire sauna operation and other word combinations. The word sauna comes from Finland and means "room made of wood".

At the same time, it is a name for a special form of bathing that has been common in Finland for centuries: at temperatures between 70 - 100 °C, you can enjoy the heat stimulus in the sauna with dry air. This is followed by targeted cooling in the fresh air with cold water or snow.
